Modern Luxury Grill
Sovereign Range, an emerging startup, approached Creativity Cubed to disrupt the luxury outdoor cooking market. The founder’s vision was to create a premium charcoal grill that challenged the category’s traditional "industrial-heavy" aesthetic. The specific challenge was to define a more sophisticated, "feminine" design language for a product category typically dominated by aggressive, masculine forms.
Refining the Form
To move away from the bulky silhouettes of traditional grills, we developed a "Lid-less" architectural form characterized by soft sheet metal breaks and a refined, tapered cart.
Functional Elegance
Creativity Cubed reimagined utility as a premium experience. We engineered a multifunctional grate system where the covers fold out to become magnetic chopping blocks supported by heavy-duty, locking SS arms.
Material Innovation
We proposed a premium CMF palette that utilized functional 304 Stainless Steel and ceramic inserts with high-contrast, jewelry-like accents. This included Stainless Steel paired with soft Brass, and a striking Black Stainless option with Rose Copper accents.
The Result: A Vision Made Tangible
Comprehensive Deliverables: We provided a full design-to-production package, including ideation sketches, 3D CAD (SolidWorks/STEP), and full KeyShot photorealistic renderings to facilitate prototyping and investor presentations.
Strategic Feature Selection: Through collaborative iterations, we prioritized high-impact features like the ceramic-tiled fire box and 3-zone fuel divider, while intentionally omitting lower-value features to maintain the product’s premium positioning.
